This is literally a giant bed for cats and small dogs and is advertised for guinea pigs and hamsters. The thing is too big for them. What the hell. I am very upset. Like it's just funny. It would take a giant guinea pig to fit in this thing.

I bought this for my rabbit but it doesn't last long. It hangs and is not easy to clean. The material gets chewed up by the rabbit and my rabbit doesn't like to sleep inside because it's too warm in there. Rabbits want cool environments, not warm beds. I do not recommend it for rabbits.

Finally a guinea pig bed that isn't a total rip off or too small! I'm ashamed of how much money I wasted on Revain buying beds for our two girls, so I was glad to finally have one that I don't have to throw away. It is perfect, very good quality and the insert/pillow is very nice and soft.

The bottom is very thin and my two guinea pigs, Iris and Ophelia, immediately turned it over and gnawed through it. I think the pet store has cheaper and more durable options. Even my local grocery store has a similar item with a heavier bottom. it feels softer and costs ten dollars less than this one.

I have a large laundry bag for all my guinea stuff, I toss the whole house (after making sure all poop balls are removed of course) in a laundry bag along with any other fleece sheets/pee pads I have, and it keeps its shape! This would be perfect if my guinea pig didn't chew a hole in the bottom of the bed and pull out all the fluff. It's well made, but if you wash the house itself on the gentle cycle, the shape will lose its shape, the bottom of the bed that goes in or on the bed is quite thick, not as thick as it looks in photos.
