Great for long HD runs

Worked great as intended. Ideal for long commercial runs to get close to HD quality. They were used in a busy restaurant/bar for watching sports and worked exceptionally well.

Works, but there is crosstalk.

I'm using this balun for dual stereo audio instead of composite video. However, I don't think this should matter as these are four channels of balanced analog signals connected to each of the four twisted pair Cat5e cables. It works but I get crosstalk. For example, if you connect the red and blue channels, you will hear those channels on the other side on green and orange. Note: This is sold as one balun, not a pair.

Expands one component at a time Cat 5

I needed to send a 1080 signal to a large LCD screen in my living room. I had an unused Cat 5 in the wall originally attached as a possible IR remote to control the AV receiver. I found, purchased and installed this product from Revain. I have separated the component signal from the single component output of the receiver. The component signal is then fed into the C5-HDP and the Cat 5 trace runs through the wall for a total path length of approximately 40 feet. Same connection on the other end…
