Volumetric inseams on the inner brief.

I am a small adult, child size 14 usually fits me best. I ordered XL (14-16) C9 2" fabric running shorts and find them to be large enough. The outer shorts are cute, they sit just below my natural waist and hit just above mid-thigh (my inseam is 29.5).".) My only problem with the inner shorts. I've never had running tights that were so bulky in the crotch. Looking at them and my other shorts, there are definitely more creases and threads in this area. After I've worn them on some, I can ignore…

  • Loose on the outside short, tight on the inside

Beautiful understated sport shorts for girls

I chose these shorts because I need shorts that will keep my daughter cool at summer outdoor soccer camp. You were perfect. Too many girls gym shorts are SUPER short. I wanted to be a little more modest, but it was cooler than basketball shorts. It worked. She's almost 7 and still wears a lot of 5/6/6x but Carter/Gymboree's size 7 fits best. I bought them a 7/8 and they fit true to size. They'll definitely fit her next year, but they weren't too loose this year to wear when she's very active on

Pros
  • Duo Dry - moisture wicking, quick drying
Cons
  • Modernity

The waist size hardly differs between XS and S

I originally ordered a size S in solid navy and figured if they were too big we'd just save them for next year and buy a pair of XS. I didn't want to deal with returning in the middle of a pandemic. Then I ordered a pink and blue pair from XS. I was very disappointed to find that they were almost the same width as the first pair (< 1/2 inch). We have a pair of sport shorts in size 4 UA and FILA 4/5 that are very similar in style. The C9 XS is roughly the same length as these two pairs but is

Comfortable but big! Order one size smaller.

Update: We have three pairs of these shorts in different colors and unfortunately one pair (purple/blue) has a hole in the back seam (the seam that goes up and down that holds two pieces together) . The shorts stay baggy, my girl is very skinny so it's not like they stretched a lot. Looks like the fabric is beginning to fray along the seam. I'm still keeping the 5 star rating because that's what happens with fabrics. If this happens to another couple I will lower the rating. First Review: As…
