Will only buy cables in bulk from now on

I HATE RJ45 wiring so I bought a 100ft cable that already comes with connectors. I had to send it back because it didn't work (no signal) so I bought this bulky cable and wired the RJ45 connector myself. It worked and now I will never buy a ready made cable as I lined up the wires well for the RJ45 connector.

Works as intended and seems reasonably reliable

This is a solid product that works as intended. I've read a lot of reviews about it being brittle and easy to break, but I disagree. I bought 4 of these 100ft CAT 5Es for network extension and POE cameras. I've run these cables over 70 feet around corners, through walls, down the side of my house, and underground and I haven't had a single problem. I've even had a few cables that twisted and bent a lot from time to time and didn't break and still worked.

Fragile cables and connections

Well I took the risk of buying an untested product. I just needed enough cable for another IP camera outside. I got this for a good price, but every time I've subjected the cable to any stress, such as B. twisting or bending around a corner, the cable is basically snapped. It has no recoil when new so I can only imagine the weather and sunshine over time. Let's see how long it lasts and then buy a better product next time.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Sad packaging

My home landline has a lot of static electricity. After a while and with absolutely no help from the cable company, I decided it was their original line of service that was bad. From the modem and then to the house wiring. After some research online I found out that cat5e is used for the incoming service. I disabled the original line and replaced it with this one and I'm back in business. I found it very flexible and easy to use. Exit through the wall in the upstairs bedroom. Above the room…

Gigabit connection! for computer accessories and peripherals

Need to install an Ethernet jack in a room at home. The price was right and it was easy to use. Cat6 punched sockets were used on both ends. The device will now connect to 1GB in full duplex mode. Considered a Cat6 cable but the price difference didn't justify it.

Quality cable CAT 5.

This cable is well made. I used this with 2 Revain Fire Sticks because my WIFI was about 50ft and 70ft with 3 walls in between which gave me trouble with some channels. After installation, I noticed that there was much less dropout and channel buffering. I noticed that several other reviewers mentioned cable twisting. This is not a stranded patch cord and will work if you are attempting to install directly from a reel without uncoiling or straightening the cord prior to installation.

Pros
  • Compliance and Certifications - ANSI/TIA 568-C.2, ANSI/TIA 862 (Building Automation), ISO/IEC 11801, ICEA S-90-661 (Category 5e), NEC/CEC Type, UL or ETL listed CMR for risers, ETL, CEC and RoHS compliant.
