They look like quality cables and meet the latest technical standards. I installed two docking stations for a new laptop. These cables run from the docking station to the monitor. What else can I say? I hooked them up and they seem to be working fine.

Neither cable in the kit worked with my mag240vc monitor. I bought another VESA certified displayport cable and this cable worked right away so it looks like this one is not certified. Since these cables match some other monitors, YMMV.

Buy something better or from a better brand. Both failed within five months of being connected from my GPU to my monitor. I can confirm this is not a monitor or GPU issue as I purchased a different, higher quality item and had no issues.

I contacted Cable Matters because one of the monitors was intermittent and they responded and suggested using the cable with a different source or monitor. I was able to isolate the issue by replacing the ViewSonic VG2439M LED monitor with the ViewSonic VG2439SMH and the issue was resolved.

I've been using it for a few weeks now. No problem. Please note that this cable has built in latches. Some cables on the market don't have them. The only thing to note is that your new monitor will actually come with a Displayport cable. I have, so I really didn't have to buy this pair of cables.

Excellent cables. Runs at 4k resolution at 60Hz for me, while the standard cable that came with the monitor I bought won't let through 30Hz no matter how much voodoo, black magic or snake oil I've used on the cable. Acer packed a real sucker with a 4k monitor I just bought. After getting this cable from CableMatters and finally getting full 4k at 60Hz, I used the old cable to make a nice harness for my dog. These cables provide a high quality 4K picture on my Dell P2415Q monitors. They are quite tough when unraveled. If you work on it for less than a minute, you can edit it in any way you want to manage your cables. The release button provides a secure connection you can be sure to get through the most stressful of situations. These cables are definitely high quality! I use them with 2 LG 31mu97 4K monitors and they can easily transmit a 4K 60Hz signal. I use an NVIDIA P4000 graphics card in my workstation to power it so my system has enough power to run the three monitors I have and these cables can keep up with them.
