Works fantastic compared to others I've tried.

available I was looking for a docking station that would allow me to use 2 monitors and work like a Dell XPS 15, so with mac mini 2018 i tried 4-5 different docks most expensive than this one (including dell docks) and none of them could work properly on both computers. This worked really well - only one driver update was required and it works seamlessly on Dell and Mac. Highly recommended. The only criticism is that the company logos and the zippers are very large at the top - a more subtle…

No frills, just works

Works great with my Dell XP15 using Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 with dual 4K 60Hz monitors, gig ethernet and a USB port ( Keyboard). Hey, no drivers required. GigE interface via USB3. The transmission throughput is at full speed, but the reception speed drops to around 700 Mbit/s, which is typical for USB3. More reliable and portable than the fancy Thunderbird dock, but not as versatile. Just like a USB hub. Just plug it in and it works. What else can you say here?

Pros
  • Mac and Windows Compatible Thunderbolt Hub for computers with Thunderbolt 3 port and graphics cards that support dual external displays; Thunderbolt 3 Dock delivers uncompressed 24-bit color and authentic audio with native DisplayPort 1.2; Miniature Thunderbolt Multiport Adapter weighs just ounces for portability

The unreliable

Used for a week now with 16" MBP and two HD monitors: HP Z27 and HP Z24. I leave the Cable Matters Adapter plugged into my Mac, turning it off at night and back on in the morning. The adapter will drive two monitors at the same time about half the time. Half the time I have to unplug it and plug it back into the USB-C port. I have stopped, Using the USB-A port on the external hard drive dongle because I have to unplug the dongle so often. I also use an ethernet port for 1GB internet but that is

2018 Macbook Pro 15 inch Support 2 4k@60hz

I have 3 external monitors: curved display Dell U3415W and 2 displays Dell P2415Q 4k. I use Apple's U3415W Multiport Digital AV Adapter and this P2415Q 2 Display Adapter. I needed to connect adapters to both sides of a 15 inch Macbook. To get 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz resolution, I had to disable MST support on both P2415Q monitors. I have macOS Mojave (10.14.3). PS: The 13-inch MacBook lacks a dedicated GPU. With this adapter I could only mirror 2 P2415Q displays on each other. PPS: Apple refuses to…
