did not work for computer cable adapter

only worked for about 5 minutes, after which the monitor started to flicker and turn off. Finally forced the monitor to go to sleep. Tried VGA and DVI connections on two different monitors, same problem.

Didn't work with 2017 Macbook Pro

Returned because it didn't work with my 2017 15" Macbook Pro. The HDMI output to the Cisco DX80 Universal Monitor failed, which is one of my main use cases. I've contacted support , but they could not solve the problem.

Works well/easily best in Computers & Accessories

This adapter worked well with DVI and VGA from my DELL Latitude 7370 Ultrabook. Haven't tried HDMI yet. I was disappointed that I couldn't use DVI and VGA at the same time. It looks like DVI takes precedence when two things are plugged into the adapter at the same time. I would give it 5 if it supports 2 devices at the same time.

After a year it becomes unreliable, consumes a lot of energy.

It worked for about a year (mostly via the DVI connector) but now the output image is often blurry and corrupted until I rock the adapter properly. Also, it seems to consume a significant amount of electricity. It feels warm after use, and even when your computer is asleep, it drains a significant portion of the battery overnight. I will take another adapter.
