Not a universal adapter as stated in product description on website. Works well with MacBook Pro but not my Nintendo Switch or my Microsoft Surface Laptop. The USB-C adapter and connector appear to be of good quality and are very compact compared to other HDMI adapters I have. On the other hand, the cord itself feels a little flimsy and easily pinched when I tried to reel it back in.

Just what I needed for classroom lecture projection. I just received a Lenovo Yoga 720. It was advertised as an HDMI port, but it isn't. However, it does have a USB-C connector and this cable works great. It's a bit short though, so I had to use a female-to-female HDMI connector. That way I can extend the cord and not be tied to the wall. The length is the only reason I gave this review 4 stars and not 5. great product
