Looks great, works great

They're perfect for a new PC build or upgrade! I love the boxy look of these cables as opposed to a standard SATA cable. The design also makes them more flexible and maneuverable than a standard SATA cableβ€”another way to simplify setup or upgrades. build, in this or another color. It would definitely make for a crispy end product!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Functionality

Ideal for small builds

Makes cable management easier in the Fractal Design Node 304 Mini ITX Tower. I've been looking for a straight, flat and short SATA cable and this is it. I was concerned that the 8" would not be enough, but it was perfect for my mini-ITX build. Value for money and quality of material is 5/5 for what it is. It's too early to judge its durability. I forgot to take a before and after photo but it looks like pure AF. I also had to upgrade the SATA power cables to make them straight and straight. You

Subtle but powerful! the best cables and connections

Just to make sure I'm not adversely affecting my system, I ran a series of "hdaprm -tT" tests before and after these cables. No noticeable difference EXCEPT on my fastest drive which (reliably and multiple times) was just under 5% faster reading a buffered drive with them. I also like that they are flexible enough to work around obstacles when needed, but otherwise form an elegant arc from source to destination.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Not sure

Cables fail on computer accessories and peripherals

I installed 6 cables on my home server. I used these cables on purpose because due to the proximity of the Asrock Taichi x570 motherboard SATA connectors to the ICY DOCK 6 x 2.5" Hot Swap SATA Mobile Case (MB326SP-B) the cables are in an overlapping " S” shape must be bent. After a lot of troubleshooting, I found that 1/3 of the cables I ordered were defective. What made troubleshooting difficult was that the cables worked for a while before they stopped.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Blunt hardware
