Combination of LG Ultrafine 24 " and Macbook Pro 16 " 2020 does not work

Well I was hoping that it would work with my setup: LG UltraFine 24" (24MD4KL) - Macbook Pro 16" 2020 - DisplayPort PC with Moshi DP->USB-C cable, but unfortunately it doesn't work, only PC output goes through, Macbook only charges (tried different cables, all devices disconnected from the Rear Display Hub)

Doesn't support Apple/Mac sources on LG Ultrafine 4k monitors

Purchased to switch inputs on my LG Ultrafine 24" 4k monitor (24MD4KL). Doesn't support output from my 13" Macbook Pro 2019 - not even when using DisplayPort Alt Mode and standard USB-C Gen2 cables. Also on Windows devices, the switching of inputs is very erratic and I almost always have to unplug and plug everything back in for it to recognize things. after switching. I was really hoping but it just doesn't work.

This kid is cool! I use it to share a monitor, keyboard, printer and mouse connected to a Dell docking station with two laptops (work and home). No more swapping cables between two laptops!

Not suitable for computer cable adapter

I bought this switch to use the LG 5K Thunderbolt Display for Mac mini and M1 MacBook Air. I couldn't display the video signal from the other Mac on the monitor. I also tried using my MacBook Pro but there was no video signal. I bought the Switch after reading a review on AppleInider and confirming that my 5K display was the correct model number. In short, I couldn't get a computer to play videos on my display.

Works perfectly; really simplifies my cables.

I bought this to use the same keyboard/monitor/webcam/mouse for my personal and work computers. I have a Lenovo ThinkVision monitor with a powered USB hub built in, so with that one port I get a keyboard, mouse, monitor, Razer webcam (Full HD 60fps) and power for each laptop. The only downside is that it only gets power to the laptop that's currently on, so the other one goes to sleep. It would be great if it could power both, but I understand it would be a lot more difficult. A word ofโ€ฆ

Use with Mac 2018 + Dell XPS 9370 (Linux) + Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Monitor - U4320Q

I've been looking for a device like this for a while and it seems to be the only one available its that kind at the moment and caters to my needs. The Dell monitor has a wired Apple Magic keyboard and trackpad, and an external webcam that acts as a hub/dock. Mac with Big Sur on the 2018 model, Dell XPS with Fedora 35 with kernel 5.14.11. Side). Both laptops are USB-C powered and can output audio to the monitor's speakers and share peripherals connected through the monitor. No more unpluggingโ€ฆ
