Fits well in my dishwasher. Now there is one less worry in the house. If a leak occurs, it will be detected from three sides, but then from the fourth (front). That means the water is directed forward so you can see the leak and fix it.

Should have read the reviews. Instead I looked at the description and nowhere did it say it was a 3 sided lip. I bought it to turn on my mini washing machine as we live in a 3rd floor apartment. It was the perfect size and color. It just won't provide the protection we need to come up with. Big disappointment.

We bought a new dishwasher and the technician didn't install it properly so it was leaking. That's a problem, but the bigger problem was that it seeped under our hardwood floor between the floor and subfloor, so we didn't see water for several days when the damage was already severe ($30,000 in compensation!). Had our restoration company installed this when repairing so next time any leak would be spotted immediately. Low price for peace of mind.

What a great product! My dishwasher poured water on the bottom, not on the floor. As a result, water seeped in for several days, ruining my basement false ceiling and some other equipment underneath. A real disaster. I put it on when I changed my dishwasher. I asked an appliance dealer to install a dishwasher and they had no idea these pots even existed!
