Much better than the standard parts that came with my camper

I wish they would just attach them to the camper but its a must. My camper was brand new and I already noticed that my standard bumper covers started to wobble while driving. They have held up very well and I'm not worried about them falling out. A note: Make sure the four corner magnets are properly seated on the bumper, otherwise they won't stick securely and could fall out.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

Big improvement for Sticky Slinky

Replacing an old Christmas tree bumper with this one has two major benefits: 1. These magnetic tops won't come loose and stay in place. The old bumper ends came loose when I stopped to refuel, I kicked them to push them back.2. The "smelly" sewer hose attaches to these covers so it pulls the hose out when you remove the cover. Nice gesture. I recommend two, one for each side. This leaves a 10-foot drain hose at each end of the bumper.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Great idea with a bug

Great idea with a bug. The compression side holds up pretty well, the magnet side doesn't. The most interesting thing is how the design pulls the drain hose out of your bumper. The bad thing is that the magnets aren't strong enough, so with a good crosswind the end sucks slightly. This means that the hose is also sucked off! Imagine the joy of everyone who follows you. If you choose to do this, I highly recommend drilling a small hole and attaching it to the bumper so you don't have thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Well thought out product

This is my first time owning a trailer where I stow a drain hose in the bumper. I've read many stories over the years of the cap factory going bust so before they even had a chance I bought this set. I had no problem with this baby breaking or even working like the standard cabs on my old trailers do. I love how the hose attaches to the end cap which is magnetic and sticks to the rear bumper making it easy to pull out and use without having to reach into the bumper in case it ends up on theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Is he falling? Read it!

I was nervous that this product might fall off as some of the other reviewers have said, but figured I'd attach it extra if needed. so far though. every now and then the hose gets stuck in the bumper in such a way that it creates a small resistance when it is closed. This is probably why some reviewers had issues with it coming loose while driving. If I feel resistance I just try to push the hose further with my hand or, if that doesn't work, I just pull it all the way out and push it back inโ€ฆ

  • Case
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

I love them even if they seem a bit expensive to me.

I love them even if they seem a bit pricey to me. I ended up with two sets (since I wanted two magnetic ends). On my "dump side" I attached my (commonly used) 10 foot sewer hose to the magnetic end and on the other side I attached an "alternative" 20 foot sewer hose to the other magnetic end. On the rare occasion I can't get closer than 10 feet to a landfill, I just pull out another longer sewer hose. Since there are drain hose attachments on the magnetic ends, I don't have to try to fish theโ€ฆ

Bumper problem solved.

I bought a kit of magnetic bumper pads (one non-magnetic) hoping the magnets would be strong enough. When I received and tested the product I was concerned that the magnets would not be able to hold the cover to the bumper. I read a few reviews and found that the magnets don't stick due to the vibrations of the road. So I found a solution that I think works fine. Check out the attached photo. I just used one of my ratchet straps to hold both end caps to the bumper while driving. This will workโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Body and Trim
Cons
  • Weak Kit
