no deal - Chemicals and sewer cleaners

For the first and last time. I usually always use insert packs but decided to try these to see if I could keep them longer. That does not work. I had to use a lot of it to keep the toilet smelling nice, which is the opposite of what I was trying to do. Back to the little blue backpacks.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some little things

Couldn't control the smell

I used it according to the manufacturer's directions and it couldn't control the smell so I used the manufacturer recommended product 3 times and it still didn't control the smell . We ended up switching to Borax & Dawn dishwashing liquid, which we found online worked great - just search Borax and Dawn to clean RV tank for more info.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • hard to say

Super thin and doesn't seem to work comes with another seller for 8 ounces

This is the thinnest septic supplement I have ever tried, the stars using the app don't let you give a total review but so far i can say i'm switching back to the 8 oz bottle and pouring 1/2 into my 40 gallon tank and it's a lot thicker and works really well this stuff in those 4 oz bottles seems like it almost diluted, but they're sealed, so it hasn't happened since.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast

Must have RV'er Chemical Accessories

This chemical is the only one I use in my RV to keep it running. I call it "Tang". Although 2 ounces per gallon is required, I add 4 ounces to be more effective. I usually add 2 gallons to my tank along with the water already in the tank from the flush. Suitable for dry camping where you don't have access to water for a long time. Removes odors because it breaks down solid particles.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • I'll write later

Helped my sensors work better and I had almost no smell when resetting. The lack of smell really shocked me because usually when I empty the tank it smells like something terrible. If anything else I'll try this stuff again to see if it was a fluke or if it actually works that well. I've tried several other aquarium chemicals, but this one has worked the best so far. Now if only I could get my gray water tank sensor to work.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Almost ok

Ease of use in wastewater and sewer treatment

We started using this liquid treatment when we realized that powder-filled bags in our black RV tank weren't enough. I researched the ingredients in both and found that when paired with powder treatment sachets, there were no harmful chemical interactions. It may have been an accident, but he seemed to be handling the smell better in this hot, hot summer. Follow the directions and add the recommended water to the tank if you add this - it won't work without water. I also use this in drains/grey

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost never

Great product for plumbing

We have been using Camco Orange Scented Bags for 12 years. We found that in temperatures above 75 degrees we had to use two or more bags and empty half a tank to keep things tidy. As a result, the cost of the tank is $3.80. The most economical method is to use 2X liquid. It works 20 times better than packages. I have found that the pouches do not fully mix with water if simply dropped. The contents of the pack stick together and simply lie on the aquarium floor. liquid is what you need. Update…

One dose lasts 2 weeks in 55 gallons. black tank in the summer heat FLA!

I have used this treatment in the past and found it really good. Yes, the capsules are a bit lighter, but how hard is it to twist off the cap and pour out 2 ounces? Lol This is the best product I have found so far for my black water collection tank. I live alone in my van in Florida year-round. Sitting alone on the fifth wheel with a relatively LARGE 55 gallon black water tank, it takes just over two weeks to fill it up. During the summer months, the black tank just "boils" in that terrible…

This is the tank treatment you are looking for.

I have been a motorhome for over a decade and have tried the full range of RV tank treatments. From blue drops to fashionable and expensive procedures. This orange thing is definitely the best odor control solution. A few ounces and you just won't smell anything. It's actually one of two parts of my black nail care routine. Every year on our final hike, I fill the tank about 2/3 full before we camp and add another product called Digest This, which does an excellent job of breaking down paper…
