👍 Review of CAMELBAK Oxford Chute Bottle .75 Liter – Pros, Cons, and Features Review

Great bottle. I like that it's easy to clean. I used to have a bottle with a straw and it was a little harder to clean. What I had to get used to was closing the bottle by twisting the cap. It's leak proof when you do this. I've only made that mistake once. I love that this bottle measurement tells me how much I've been drinking.

The new "magnetic" cap is terrible. Opening and closing hurts. This is no longer easy to do with one hand and you need 2 hands to open or close it. Other camel noodles are easily processed with one hand, leaving the other hand free. The grip is also uncomfortable for a right-handed person. The left hand is more convenient to use, but I usually drink with my right hand.

Bought this to replace my Nalgene bottle. I think it's great that the lid is magnetic and sticks to the lid when you open it. Be careful because if you close it without unscrewing the lid it will leak. When properly closed, it is airtight. I also wish it had an ounce label like Nalgene, but it's still a great option.

My son needed a clear refillable water bottle for school. We passed 4 before the first semester ended. I ordered this one and it's amazing! Officially (Friday is the last day of 3rd grade) it took a whole year! no cracks, no leaks! I know if this one breaks during summer camp I will order the same one! Perfect!

I have a lot of people who swear by it (they have it) and I love the magnetic lid and all, comfortable to hold but the problem was every time I drank it had an odd plastic taste, and the more I drank, the more restless my stomach became. I love these water bottles. This is my second. The first one I left at work during the COVID fiasco and it sat with water for so long it grew an ecosystem of scary looking amphibian monsters.
