Leaks on first use. Bought after reading reviews and sold under the Camelback name thinking it was a quality product. It was not. It went bad. It wet everything in my backpack and ran all the way down my back. I finally had enough and emptied it, deciding I'd rather be dehydrated than continue peeing up my ass. Very disappointed. Found REI and bought the Osprey version which is much better in design.

They just keep getting better. I've been using hydration packs since they first came out and have used several CamelBak and other brands. This is the best product in the Cambak line (they keep improving it) and I would say it's the best overall. This reservoir is an improvement over the previous two generations of Camelbak reservoirs. The last generation with the 1/4 turn cap was random on the civilian versions (blue) and always terrible on the military version (brown). The military version always licked at the most inopportune moment, sometimes soaking the contents of the backpack and back. I bought this tank while preparing for a hike. I know I wanted more capacity than I thought I would need so I wouldn't run out of water. This 3 liter tank has enough water for me for the whole day. The problem with these types of Camelbaks is that mold and mildew grow in them because people don't use them often enough to constantly rinse and wash them. I solved this problem with my laziness. I use this in place of a glass of water next to me every night. So I can drink water while lying in bed.
