Try another bag! in moisture pouches

Sent back. Leaked everywhere. The bubble just sat in the pocket and didn't get stuck. There was no hook for an extended drinking tube, it just dangled.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Functionality

Worth the Money: Hydration Packs

This is the Best! Pouring water is not difficult. You don't have to fiddle with removing the bag or draining water because there's a handle.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Negative Experience

Not used yet

Bought to train Air Force officers. Haven't used it yet but the quality seems good. Good size bag with adjustable shoulder straps. Make no mistake with CamelBak!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing here

Expensive and uncomfortable

Pain in the ass to fill. The bag must be pulled out completely, filled and reinserted. Expensive and has enough space for ID and credit card. We strongly recommend replacing this with one with an easy access lid and large capacity.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Incredible price

Nice but no lid on the mouthpiece

This camel tank works as it should. Keep water leak-free. The problem I found was that when it's new you taste gummy in the water for a while before it goes away after a few refills. I recommend rinsing it several times with cold water. The biggest problem is that the mouthpiece doesn't have a lid, so it can touch anything. The problem with the mouthpiece is the reason I give it 3 stars.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Safety

Good and reliable best outdoor product

Needed for military training. I haven't had any leaking issues like some people with other brands. However, I would strongly recommend purchasing a mouthpiece case. If you're taking this anywhere you'd put it down, go ahead and order a mouthpiece cap. Also, this size is good for an activity or two (short hike) but not big enough for a full day. If you want something to last all day or if you drink a lot of water, buy one size up. I had about 3-4 refills a day. All round great product and I have

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Discontinued

Water tastes like plastic, the cap is twisted

I like this Camelbak. I had a very similar one but it had worn out after years of regular use and the hose became sticky with age. Its bladder design is different, but not necessarily better. That's good, except the water tastes really bad. I don't remember having the same problem with the predecessor. I have washed it and used it several times but the problem persists. I'll try storing it with water to get rid of the taste. Update: I'm disappointed in the design of the large lid used to add…

  • Pleasant

  • There are nuances
