This product is a testament to how little testing was done prior to production. The top strap cuts into the neck. Drinking is uncomfortable due to the angle of the mouthpiece. Just very bad design. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Now you can go further with the right moisture. Fits tight. I don't even know what it is until it's time to take a sip. The flow rate is perfect. The only downside is that the water in the tube itself can heat up between sips, but that's not critical. Fits me, I'm a very tall guy (6ft 4in, 360ft)

Tube on the right shoulder. If you plan to use it for hunting like me and shoot with your right hand, the barrel will get in the way of your gun. To my surprise, you can't move the handset to the left side. The bag and shoulder straps have holes to allow the tube to be routed from the left side, but the chest strap that secures the tube is not removable. Otherwise this would be a great product.

This is a small camel to complement my large one. Ideal for a 2 hour bike ride. It has decent storage even when the water is full. The hose could have been a bit longer and it took me a bit of practice adjusting the straps to keep the front strap from wrapping around my neck from the front. I've found that it's best to trim the shoulder straps as short as possible while you can still tighten them, and then trim the front strap as much as possible. After that it fits great.

Camelbak water system is pretty good overall; the water in the backpack stays cool in any case; cooler than self-insulated bottles in the Texas summer heat. However, the shoulder and chest straps are not very well positioned and become uncomfortable when riding on gravel/off-road. For reference, my height is 6,175 pounds. Yes they can be "expensive" but they did their job and did it really well on WDW in September, the highlights were mid 90's filled with Ice/Water/Gatorade, stayed cool until noon, others like each other complaining about it not staying cool and they are right to an extent, the water in the blue hose has no insulation so that 3 -4 oz will be there no matter what the outside temperature is, keep drinking and you'll get cooler bubble water…
