💧 CamelBak Mil Spec Crux 100 oz/3.0L Short Accessory Reservoir - Brown: A Reliable Hydration Solution Review

This is a perfect size balloon, well thought out. Fits under my hunting vest and in my backpack. Lots of water through the mouthpiece.

From the pictures it looks like a hard shell tank. It is not. It's a flexible plastic bladder. Works well but I thought it would hold its place in the backpack but actually it doesn't.

I have an old CamelBak and the original bladder has recently leaked. I have the "Camelbak Ambush Mil Spec Antidote Hydration Backpack" and this reservoir fits perfectly. It is the same size as the original. It says the bite valve delivers over 25% water per sip, but it's the same as what I've had before. never mind I was just glad that I could replace my bladder without having to buy another full pack.

Great overall, the cap is more secure and tighter than the previous generation. The handle is also more ergonomic when filling the tank. I gave it one star because the description says it gives 25% more water per sip. The hose that the refill came with is identical to the previous generation. My wife's Crux (Sport) has a larger tube, bite valve, and a different style of shut-off valve. This is still a great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 3 liter tank.
