This hair clip is great even for holding very heavy hair. I was surprised when I used it for the first time. Basically it has all the benefits of a ponytail but it doesn't give me a headache. However, I had to deduct two stars because I bought a set of 2 and only received one clip in the package. It's a bit of a shame to pay double for a hair clip, but it's a good hair clip and easy to use.

Banana clip is slightly better made than similar ones I've bought. It is made from the finest material and comes in its own small silk pouch with a satin cord. My other banana clips lost their teeth within a week. Not this one. It is made from the best material. I'm picky and hard to impress and I highly recommend this hair clip.

This hair clip is one of my favorites and it usually works really well. more than a few seconds. Part of the problem is that it's flat and doesn't flex with your head, so it detaches from your head instead of hugging it. In addition, the teeth of the comb are short and not rubberized, which allows the hair to slip through. Tried both vertically and horizontally, neither works.

I liked this particular clip because of the size - I'm older and have lots of hair - but it's thin - so I didn't need a 4" banana clip, just a smaller one. It is beautiful and works well, delivered quickly.

I have just received a banana clip from Camila Paris sold by Bayside Brush. Unfortunately the wrong size was sent to me and I am sending it back. My rating relates to the quality of the product. It is well made so its price is higher than many other banana clips on the market. I've been wearing banana clips for over 30 years. I have and still wear the ones I bought in the 1980's. I'm concerned that my old clips will break over time and am looking for a good source for replacements. If Bayside…

I've tried two sizes of this hair clip and neither fit my fine hair. My hair slipped through the larger teeth and the clip didn't come out right away. I liked it enough to try a smaller size which I thought would work but it would take a little longer to slide down. There's also a learning curve to getting all of your hair in one hand while trying to maneuver the clip with the other hand to catch all of your hair. I wish it was kept because I like the look. Much better than a tail holder.

This comb is a good weight, nice finish and color and works very well. I have very thick and heavy hair and every time I try to put my hair in a ponytail or gather my hair my head starts to hurt. This comb allows me to remove hair from my neck without a headache. The length seems to spread and hold the weight of my hair. I use it every day now when the weather is so warm. Kind!

I have very thick and curly hair that is barely long enough to style back. This clip does an amazing job of holding it. And it's really easy to use with one hand (I use my other hand to hold my hair).
