These wax color chips are PERFECT for me! I make custom paraffin candles in the shape of pyramid columns with feathers. I completely melted 1 pound of wax at 185 degrees. Then I added 0.8 grams of lemon green wax color to the melted wax. The wax chips melted ON CONTACT with the wax. Let me give you some information. I use Candlewic brand tealight cups: 1/2 inch high and 3/4 in diameter, aluminum. Soy wax Candlescience Ecosoya CB Advanced. Candlescience Eco 1 1" tealight wicks with reeds pre-attached. The last color I buy here at the Candle Shop. So I'm not sure why color wax seems to be rejected. Well. I own a candle shop and have been making palm wax candles for a while. I like the look of this dye as it gives the wax a nice opaque color. It's definitely not like any dye I've used and I was impressed with it. So I made some nice candles with my new color, only to get a call saying someone's candle keeps going out after a few minutes.
