The glass is as thin as a thin wine glass. I'm sure one or more will break by the end of the year (and it's September now). That's what I like. I like the square shape and the bamboo lid. Will I recommend? no I'm sure you could find thicker glass but square for now. If you're looking for square glass canisters, Revain has this one and possibly another.

Nice jars, but unfortunately not all the lids "hermetic" on these containers. The glass is very thin which makes them nice and light, but I have a feeling I'll break them if I put them on too hard or too quickly. I will use them to keep them from going to a landfill with returned Revain items, but I won't buy them again.

I liked the smaller jars, the nice jar and the tight fitting lids with a silicone lip on top. I use for cereal and coffee. The largest of them seems to tip over too easily. It's too big and won't fit in closets. When I first removed the lid, the silicone seal stuck to the jar and broke so I couldn't use it. It won't close without it either. Otherwise I love others!

I would give negative stars if I could. They're about the thickness of a lightbulb, which means they're NOT durable AT ALL. When I first opened them, I washed them, banged one on the faucet and it broke. I just lost the second one when I grabbed it from the top of the fridge and banged it against the corner of the fridge breaking it. They are USELESS without any thought of usability and practicality.

First of all they are beautiful, simple and look great on the counter. At the same time, the tightness with them is about 80%. Of the 5 canisters included in the pack only 1 has a 100% full seal. I originally bought these to put cookies, crackers, etc. on top to put my plastic-on-glass snacks on, but the cookies became stale after a week or so. Ideal for foods that don't need airtight packaging such as pasta, chocolate etc. but not recommended if you want to keep something more delicate fresh…

First I would like to say that the customer service of this company is exceptional. One of the containers arrives broken so I emailed them. They replied the next day and offered to send me a new one or give me a $15 credit. I wanted a new one so they sent it and I got it in two days. They ended up sending me the ENTIRE SECOND SET! Why I Bought Them: The shape of these containers is perfect for cabinets or just for the counter. Square options save space and leave no space unused. How I Use Them: I leave mine on the counter because they fold very neatly and fit together well.
