Canon Digital Camcorder Discontinued Manufacturer Review

When this arrived at my house today it was missing a battery, no plug cord and who knows if it will work. I don't want to buy any parts for this camera because I already paid $75 for it.

Good luck with your purchase of this camera. However, since it was used, the sender accidentally left a videotape inside which I want to return to him. It looks like a video of a father and son flying kites and doing other things together. Memories I'm sure would love to have back.

The camcorder was a bit dirty and the lens cap was missing. Joanna didn't have a missing lid and didn't know why it was dirty. The power cord was defective. ordered a new one. looked like it had been chewed. Case (cassette) compartment was slightly bent and could not be opened at first. made some adjustments to it. fred

I love this little camera. Videos captured outdoors are great, indoors without bright lighting it can be a bit blurry. The zoom is amazing. The only thing I don't like is the fact that you can only charge the battery when it's mounted on the camera, which defeats the purpose of using multiple batteries when you want to charge one battery but charge the camera with one others use battery. . .

I've been using this camera for 9 years and have topped it on holiday to Disneyland etc. Everything you've read about it is true - Excellent quality in bright light, so-so indoors. Doesn't work well in low light conditions. The Stabilize feature, despite being enabled, doesn't seem to do much. And although I photographed this camera a long time ago (in fact, it still works), it must be said - Canon camcorders have a rich, bright, "warm" color that no other camcorder has. It captures more color.

This was a good camera in its prime but it is 2018 and this camera model was made in the early 2000's. I bought it in 2002 or 2003 and it was mostly reliable back then, except I occasionally remember a videotape coming out and getting tangled in the car. So I advise against buying it.
