Cool scanner! for scanner

This is an amazing portable scanner. A little squeaky, but works great! I like the computer interface - the ability to delete pages, move pages around, rescan and then save pages that don't scan properly. Ideal for anyone who scans a lot of pages in the office or on the go!

The scanner is made in Japan which says a lot about its quality but it doesn't look like new. It has a lot of blunt spots. Will definitely come back and order a new one. Hopefully it's brand new as advertised on amazon.com.

This scanner is only approx. Since the feed is short, the pages are often crooked. You can try to fix the distortion with their software, but it's far from perfect. The big problem is that for two weeks (and probably only after 25 pages have been scanned) the scanner keeps reporting that there is no paper in the scanner. Works great on my Mac, I'm happy to report that there is NO battery in the scanner.

Works great on my Mac, Apple Image Capture doesn't automatically detect it. I have used many scanners over the years. This is the first image not automatically recognized by Apple's built-in Image Capture app. I had to download two items from the Canon website: the TWAIN driver and the CaptureOnTouch application.
