Need more ink or less paper! Please sell CANON ink separately!

CANON we need more ink or PLEASE only sell ink. I've accumulated 3 extra paper giants in the last year because you don't supply enough ink. I like the printer, the paper and ink are great. Great pictures, but please, we need more ink!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Some difficulties

If you have a Selphy printer, you need this

If you have one of the Canon Selphy printers listed, this is the only option for printing 4x6 photos. The package contains 108 sheets of paper and sublimation ink rolls suitable for this printer. The good news is that it produces very good color prints. The bad news is that the packaging is relatively expensive when bought from retail. You will prefer the price at Revain.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

the ink cartridge is defective - Canon does not obey!

Problems. My machine was printing great, I ran out of ink so I installed a new cartridge from the box which arrived the same day. The first photo was printed normally, the next photo was not printed completely, the next photo has a bad crunch! "Traffic jam" appeared on the screen. I'm sure the cellophane is wrinkled and creased with the ink on it. Now I can't get the cartridge free to remove it. Called support who directed me to Canon who claims it's a machine. I have to send it back to…

It works if you can handle color inkjet printers

I practically refuse to buy cheap inkjet printers because you end up end up spending several times the purchase price on cartridges. Some can be charged at Costco (or other stores), but others cannot. BUT, this is a specialty product that makes "old fashioned" postcard prints for photo albums and exchanges. I enjoy processing prints and reliving travel and events. For some reason, a memory screensaver and a rotating photo screen are not the same for me. In addition, young children love to…

Pros
  • Postcard size: 4 x 6 inches (148 x 100 millimeters), 108 sheets of paper and two-tone ink included

Both orders are overdue

Since 2018 using A photo paper for my Canon Selphy 1300. Much better prices. I have just received 2 new boxes of the RP-108 Photo and Ink Combo Set consisting of 108 postcard sized photo papers and 2 ink cartridges. The expiry date is always displayed in the lower right corner of these fields. The last 3 orders were each 3-6 months overdue. These two new boxes expired on April 14, 2021. An order preceding that in January 2021 expired in October 2020. I keep these expired boxes because I can't…
