This product is a waste of money but I think you get what you pay for. Firstly, when the metal slides off the top of pants/shorts when worn (which often happens when doing physical work outdoors), it causes pain on the skin. They sent a cheap fake Chinese belt and buckle that would only remotely look like a sliding belt. The width of the belt and the buckle are too large compared to the military standard. The buckle is silver and the belt is brown and not as thick as military belts. See comparison photo. This belt is on top and the best quality belt is on bottom. Not bad for the price but don't expect it to last more than a year. The other belt has been in daily use since 2015.

My son had to dress up as a 1940's Hornboy for the GLEE introduction to school. This belt came in handy even though it was too big for him. I didn't realize it was an adult one size when I ordered it. My son is 10 years old and quite tall for his age but he was still quite tall as we had to wrap him twice around his waist but he did the job perfectly.

This belt was described on the website as '57' long. When received it was only 46 inches long. The manufacturer/retailer says "all of their belts were 46 inches long." We found out this was not true as there was another review that said they received this belt and it was only 42 inches long ! Revain came to our rescue and asked the supplier for a quick solution, which was provided. Buyer warning!

Maybe the material has some big knots (2) inclusions but luckily they were on both sides so I could flip the buckle. Also, some crimped ends were not straight and crimped tightly. I think I got my money's worth.
