Capezio PointΓ© shoes

I usually wear $9, I bought $8.5 and they are bigger than I thought. The quality is good, comfortable, but now I can't use it because it's too big. Check Capezio sizing before purchasing.

Pros
  • #2 upper
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I love Capezio, though. for ballet and dance

I tried on this particular style and exact size in the store fitting and the shoes were perfect. I ordered it online to save about $30. When I received them, however, my toes buckled slightly when I put them on. They're still wearable, but certainly not what I expected.

Pros
  • These shoes are 3 sizes larger than street shoes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Contempora 8.5 C - Ladies

I haven't worn a Contempora in years but when I saw the price I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately they are a bit narrower than I remember and I had to send the shoes back in width C. A few sizing reviews for those who don't live at the dancewear store that sells these shoes in your size: The length of the shoes is within sizing guidelines (subtract 2.5 from your street shoe size) - I wear a women's size 11 and a size 8.5 Pointe Shoes were the right length. If you wear a medium width but…

Pros
  • Wide box with feathers and wings
Cons
  • Some bugs

Best pointe shoes I've tried

I have a hard time adjusting my foot. I have a high arch, feet are fairly wide and tapered (big toe is longer). I've tried a few shoes from different manufacturers. I finally stumbled across the Capezio and tried the Tendu II. While the width was excellent, the shoes were too wide for my toes so they tended to slide down the box requiring me to use custom shims to fix this issue. I was advised to try the Capezio Contempora and it's the best shoe I've tried for my feet and has greatly reduced…

Pros
  • U-neck
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Fits me well, died fast

I really like these shoes - I ordered them on a whim (I STRONGLY RECOMMEND BEING A PRO) after my first two try ons went poorly. I've researched a lot about leg types and they suit my feet very well. The main problem I have is that Capezio doesn't offer different strength shafts. This shoe comes standard with a #2 shank, which is too loose for me. I have very strong feet and high arches and when I first started training in them I could tell the shoes were dying after a few sessions. 2 classes…

Pros
  • 100% Satin
Cons
  • Protection
