Great shoes, better order one size bigger!

Very good quality shoes, I like the strap without velcro which does not damage the tights. However, I had to send it back because it was too small. My daughter usually wears a size 3 and it was at least a size down. Order volume increased. Otherwise great shoes!

Pros
  • Harder micro rubber heel matches shoe color
Cons
  • So-so

Note the size difference between regular shoes and dance shoes

My daughter wears a size 4 but I've been told dance shoes are always at least 1 size too small. Luckily, she had the chance to try on the brand's dance shoes. Turns out they are 2 sizes too small! So I ordered size 6 and they fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Artificial sole
Cons

Nice slippers and tips for potential buyers

Nice tap dance pair but not too expensive. I highly recommend them. Bear in mind that after reading other reviews I went up a half size. Size 8 usually fits me, but I bought size 8.5. Size 8.5 was too big for me even with thick socks, so I'm sending them back in size 8. They definitely fit me. I started dancing clogs or taking clog lessons and I liked it so much that I bought Taps but didn't want to spend too much money. Also, I needed wide shoes so they are pretty comfortable compared to what…

Capezio is not the best dance shoe brand for nothing!

The most popular tap dance shoe for women. I wasn't too sure about the Mary Jane tap shoe since I grew up wearing laces. But they are really cute and they fit me perfectly because I need a wide fit on the fullest part of the foot. They are well made and sound very clean when struck. When I wear them to class I really feel the quality. I always wear them with thin cotton or wet socks, but if you prefer tights I'm sure they will work as well. I think they are a very fair price for the comfort…

  • Cotton insole and lining with tags; Ribbed, non-slip rubber padding

No Rocketta. in Athletic

When I was in my sixties I decided it was time to take tap dancing lessons. Chatted with daughter who has been hitting on Capezio for years. She urged me to try on this type of flat at a dance store, probably half a size bigger. Went to the store tried on these shoes and my size 9ft felt good at 9.5. I didn't want to spend €40. Went home, went to your website and found this pair for $17. Being sold as carefully used, when they arrived they looked like new. The box was a little wrinkled. The…

They are very comfortable once broken in and I could knock on them.

I bought these shoes to start taking beginner tap dance classes. These shoes fit me and sound good. I find it difficult to lift my legs because they are wide and I have very big toes. I usually wear a size 9 1/2 for summer shoes (with thin socks or stockings) and a size 10 for fall/winter shoes for thick/multiple pairs of socks. I usually have problems with the height of the toe of the shoe: it's not high enough and my thumb is on it. Based on the reviews I chose 10 watts for these shoes and…

Pros
  • Foam footbed for cushioning and extra comfort
Cons

Like it but not sure if I'll be returning it as the packaging was damaged (this is normal as I always throw away the bix). But there are 4 black spots on one side of the shoe that may not wash off. BUT, when I send it back, I don't have the tap shoes that I'm going to wear for the beginner's tap dance tomorrow. I have ordered another pair of Bloch shoes but this one fits better. Cons: The packaging was damaged. One side of the shoe has dirty spots that cannot be cleaned. Pros: I really like it.

Pros
  • 100% Leather
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I bought the shoes in size 9W by following Capezio's instructions on the website to increase the size by 1/2. I usually wear 8.5MW outdoor shoes, so 9W seemed like the best option for me to try. Good choice. Not too tight, not too wide, not too short, not too long. I will say that I wear Crocs about 99.9% of the time, so getting used to 'more fitting' shoes takes a bit of getting used to. My toes need to get to know each other again haha. The shoes feel good (you wouldn't expect anything less…
