As the name suggests, you get what you pay for. It's really just a USB 2 capture device with low quality JPEG video output. It does have a USB 3 port, but I have confirmed that it can only be connected to a computer at USB 2 speeds.

This product is great for streaming from game console to computer. I don't recommend it for trying to play with more than one person. Individual games work great with this product. The capture card does what it is supposed to do when used for a gaming console. I have yet to figure out how to get it to work with my camera and phone. It's certainly a capture card, but it's not ideal for gaming. The input lag is unbearable and it doesn't really show 60 fps. I'll say the only benefit is that it at least gives you a taste of what the capture card will be like.

This product is a great entry-level video capture device as it supports 720p 60fps and 1080p 30fps. This unit works great as described and is an incredible value. With this device and the free OBS software, I was able to use my laptop as a TV. Just a tip for any OBS noob like me. If you don't hear any sound, you need to enable audio monitoring. To use the audio monitoring feature, click "Edit" -> "Advanced Audio Properties" and set the "Audio Monitoring" option to "Monitor Only" or "Monitor and Output".
