The good thing about carpet cleaners and deodorizers

I sprayed this on a few pet stains before spraying Capture and Carpet Cleaner on the carpet. Worked great. No more stains. A word of warning. After collecting the dry powder with a vacuum, I noticed that the areas where I had used the spray had faded. I waited about an hour (I think my carpet was ruined) and vacuumed again and the white spots were gone. I just had to let the spray dry completely to separate the powder from the carpet.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Only available in white

Exceptional Product

Must be used with Capture Powder. I've been using combos for over 40 years and it's amazing. I've never found a stain I wouldn't remove. I never go home without Captur, but I stress that it should be used in combination with powder. Nobody can do the work alone. Things stay forever. You won't be disappointed with this product and you don't need a lot of spray or powder to be effective.

Great for a quick clean, low cost

I've been using Capture for years. We have beige carpeting in the common room and it works really well for a quick clean up of spills/food drips. I simply remove food debris, spray lightly, scrub around the spill and wipe with an absorbent cloth. After that, the area is usually free and rarely leaves a control mark. (Anything is possible with red wine, grape juice, etc.) In contrast to Spotshot, there really is no smell of chemicals here. I didn't rate the deep clean; Spray capture is not…

I LOVE IT.: Household item

Purchased to use with the Capture Dry Carpet Cleaning Powder. I've just moved and couldn't find an Oreck store (I've only used Oreck spray and powder). I saw Oreck products online but after moving I had to watch for the pennies and decided to try this much cheaper brand. I LOVE IT. I am amazed at the cleaning power, my dog had several accidents while settling into his new home. I followed the manufacturer's instructions and WOW----no residue, no residue, clean fresh scent. I will always use…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great with Capture Dry

I usually only write reviews for products that either exceed or fall short of my expectations. The recording exceeded my expectations. My yellow lab likes to lie on the first step to the basement. Needless to say, this step got very messy and nothing I tried was able to fix this stupidity. I've tried Capture Dry on my own and it works a bit, but you don't see the "lab stain" after using the pre-treatment spray. This step now looks like the rest. Also working on a spot in another room that was…

It was easy to tell ours was over.

Sprayed lightly on high traffic areas as directed and additionally sprinkled with dry carpet cleaner. After rubbing the powder inside and leaving it on for several hours, I sucked it all out of the carpet after moving in different directions for a few minutes. After clearing out the dirt chamber and checking again until no more dust was being collected by the vacuum, it was easy to say our Dyson was fine. The carpet smells great and feels as soft as under furniture. No more renting a steam…

Pros
  • 24 oz - Top Quality - Safety - Made in the USA - Safe in homes with children and pets. Safe to use with all vacuum cleaners.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fog and powder over 25 years on cream carpet. I have three dogs and a man who walks on pavement all day. Capture has never let me down! Several carpet cleaning companies have attempted to remove pet stains and shoe prints from the sidewalk using a variety of methods. Different methods but the result is the same. Two weeks later the same spots reappeared! Not with Capture! A little goes a long way, but if you have a very stubborn stain, try this: treat according to the manufacturer's directions,

Good but not perfect

It was relatively easy to use, but it required some effort. The smell (citric, pleasant and non-chemical) is there, but it doesn't appear to have any artificial fragrance and has never caused allergies. It is a very fine, almost wet powder. If used carefully and as directed, it does not fly through the air, but dissolves easily when emptying my (bagless) vacuum cleaner. I found it clogged my vacuum cleaner filters a bit, but they're all washable so that's not a problem. Overall, it certainly…
