The horns work well with minor modifications to the bracket

Once installed they worked well on a 2005 BMW 325ci. No trimming required, no splicing required. The adapters were a bit difficult to fit onto the horns and the horn mounts were not the same so the mounts had to be replaced with the old horns.

Not quite a horn or horn

The horns on my 8 year old van stopped working so I found these to replace. Installation is easy and the horns are designed to work with multiple makes of vehicle and the included adapter seems well thought out. Time will tell if it can handle the road salt used where I live. The tone of the horn is slightly different. Not quite the full horn my van had and luckily not a small car horn but they still work like a horn.

Installing a high horn requires cutting and splicing of wires.

Because the connector of the high-frequency horn points to the driver's side, the car wiring harness is too short to reach it. So to install a high horn, you need to cut off the car wiring harness connector, connect about 6 inches of extra wire, and reattach the connector. Move the horns towards the front of the vehicle. Definitely not: I can't figure out why, but if you over-tighten the nuts holding the horns to the mounts, the horns will sound very weak. I had to mount them with silicon…
