But could have been 5 stars.

These lights are as bright as I expected but you will need to trim a little to make them fit. You can see OEM headlights compared to these.

Not suitable for Volkswagen

NOT suitable for Volkswagen Passat. Don't buy if you are looking for Volkswagen license plate light.1. The plug doesn't even come close. Extremely cheap quality.

Waaay Bright - License Plate Light

They are actually too bright for me. Easy installation, plug and play. But damn, they're bright! I will probably look for a less bright garland for the original lamp bodies and use them again. I feel they outweigh the platter area on my machine.
