Not well built. - Car Electronics Accessories

I bought two of these. Both collapsed in the car wash. The reason is that there are only 2 threads connecting the top to the base. I even disassembled the second one I ordered to add Loctite hoping that would prevent the problem from reoccurring. But the threaded rod just wasn't enough for a secure connection and the car wash simply pulled it out.

Not as expected. in antennas

Get what you pay for. I have now updated my original two star review. Down to zero. Black turned red in two summer months in Minnesota. The supplied thread did not fit. The reception was terrible from the start. I decided to only paint the faded parts. I literally touched it and it broke into three pieces. On my next trip it would probably fall apart. Best of all, I park my car in an air-conditioned garage and only get 1,500 miles with it. what rubbish

Great antenna for a smoother aftermarket appearance. Without the complete sacrifice of radio.

Fits perfectly on the Honda Civic EU/EP2/EP3, although to protect the environment the fitting will of course leave some holes in the radio case. This is not the seller's fault, but good to know. Sound in a big city in most cases from decent to good, without much interference. But sometimes on the freeway it can get noisy on some radio shows and channels, and if you're using an FM station (like I do), too. The short antenna is really very thin, when I first received the product I almost thought…
