The best price for similar filters than any major store. I bought two and our water/ice cream taste improved immediately. At this price I will be replacing more often since the same type of filter is at least $22 at HomeDepot.

Why pay $33 for this filter at Lowes when you can get 6 for the same money. I bought 2 sets of adapters so I could quickly replace one and then swap out the rest for the new filter.

They are too cheap to even label the filter what it is and what it is for. As far as I know there may only be a few rocks in there. Anyway, I installed it and flushed the system and my water tastes awful and has been for weeks. I would definitely not recommend.

Be prepared to shell out another $10 if you don't have the parts. Made a world of difference to my nasty tap water. Ice cream doesn't smell like shit anymore.

The filter came with no papers or labels so I have no idea how to fit it. It also says it has a 1/4" inlet/outlet, that's wrong, mine doesn't fit but they are 1/4". It's 3/8" and now I have to get a new fitting. If you're thinking of buying this filter, don't. You can't go wrong at this price. I bought several of these to use in my van. I used to use an external filter that is built into the water hose. However, installing a decent activated carbon filter cartridge will result in too high a pressure drop.
