After reading some reviews of this carburetor I was hoping for the best but prepared for the worst! I am very happy to say that this carburetor fits perfectly and works great right out of the box! No adjustments were required. This setup was on a Yamaha Warrior 350 quad that had been idling for a long time. I recommend this part for the same application.

Carburettor looked good but that's about it. Difficult to assemble as the intake manifold nuts are too big. After installation, my Kodiak booted up as expected. However that was the only thing he did, the quad worked but didn't get to 20km/h, it also wobbled a bit when I gave it more throttle. Tried to adjust but to no avail. Ordered another Zoom carb which was easier to install and worked great.

Carb fit. That's all. It looks similar but only uses one of the throttle cables. This made my bike too skinny and too hot. No matter what jet I put on (it had 3), the bike still ran poorly. I ended up buying a conversion kit and the bike is working great again. Maybe I just couldn't figure out how others did. But to be honest this is my 11th bike in the garage. I'm amazed that this amazing carb and accessories can be bought for anything more than a carb kit! It took longer to remove the second end of the wire on the splitter (original carb required 1 wire on top and 1 in front, but this one does the same thing with 1 wire - even better!). Excellent replacement at a much lower price than the OEM. Used on a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350 yfm. Just two questions. 1) Throttle tube bent too much but easy to bend back, 2) Throttle tube too long and not threaded enough to allow adjustment of the cable that was in the minimum position on both handlebars and on the carburetor. Purchased for a 2002 Yamaha Warrior 350 to replace an old Mikuni carburetor. Fits perfectly except for small changes. The throttle cable entry was too long and the bend too sharp. I cut about 1/8 inch before the threaded part (see photo), then heated with a flashlight and bent up to match the angle of the old carburetor. I bought this to replace my Mikuni which was disassembled and reassembled incorrectly by a previous user. I installed this carburetor exactly as I bought it.
