🎲 Chinese Checkers Game Board by Cardinal Industries – Wooden Edition Review

Bought for my daughter. The pin pieces are plastic and are too short to fit properly in the holes in the board. So if you move a pin from one hole to another, you will inevitably bump into other pins nearby. This game is not playable in the delivery state. We experimented with inserting short segments cut from a stick of wood into the pins to keep them from falling off. It works but requires some effort from you, the owner.

Agree with other reviews I've seen about the quality of the parts. These are cheap plastic pieces that often fall out of holes if you barely touch the board with your hand or sleeve while trying to move a piece. This often happened when my children were playing. I really like the wooden board and that's why I bought this game. But if I really saw it in the store and put my hands on it, I wouldn't buy it. Parts just fall off because they aren't heavy enough to stay in place.

Chinese Checkers is a great game to teach strategic thinking. I ordered this for our family and figured solid wood would be a nice tactile experience. I don't really like plastic.
