Beautiful but the size does not match the description

Nice jacket, as expected, but the size in the description does not match the size on the tag. Reduce the size if using a table in the description.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • I've always wanted my boys to have a full Carhart onesie and now I have a onesie for the little ones.

I love this jacket! good for me

This jacket is perfect for my son who is 4ft tall and around 40lbs. it's a bit big but that's great because it can grow into it and probably live with it for two winters! Very happy with this purchase

Pros
  • This jacket is bigger than expected, but that's ok because it will fit next year too!
Cons
  • Tight at the chest

Lightning is garbage: my review

We're the Carhartt family, always have been, but the zippers on these kids' jackets have always been junk. My son was the same size before and this zipper was also impossible.

Pros
  • Good quality
Cons
  • length too long

Exactly what we wanted

Just perfect for our great grandson. Now if the post would take a delivery course from Revain it would be great. It was advertised as a small i thought I was getting a size 5 and it ended up being a 7 82 sizes too big!

Pros
  • IDEAL!
Cons
  • It was advertised as small, I thought I'd take a size 5 but it turned out a size 782 is too big.

Very durable and warm

Bought it for my 6 year old nephew. It's durable enough to handle his busy lifestyle. It's machine washable and he loves it. We tried it before we bought it, the dimensions are correct.

Pros
  • Very good material and looks warm but came back for a smaller size which my son will love. Cheaper than the online store
Cons
  • Rough and scratchy fabric

It's ok but bulky and attracts hair etc.

My son complains that his face hurts when he wears his coat in the car because when he sits he is so bulky that he climbs on it and the zipper scratches his chin and cheeks. The stuff is so hard. This is a 3 year old big boy and I bought him some extra to use all winter. Also if you have dogs or cats you may not need this as this fabric does not attract hair well.

Pros
  • As a replacement for one that has become too small for my son. He loves to.
Cons
  • Not enough inside pockets

Warm and durable. A little oversized.

My 8 year old mad hunter loves this coat. It's warm and durable and you never know when it's dirty, which is a plus as it likes to get dirty. My son is an average size for an 8 year old and I bought a 10-12 thinking it would last two winters but it was A LOT tall. Probably my fault for ordering too much. I went back and bought a size 7-8 which has plenty of room and might even fit next winter. He has worn it to school and played every day for the last 6 weeks and it is holding up very well…

Pros
  • Quilted flannel lining
Cons
  • Crinkled fabric

Nice design - no quality control.

The design of the coat is really good but it is made in a factory in Vietnam without any quality control. I know this because the coat came to me with a Carhartt tag sewn directly onto the front of the coat, REVERSED. Not only was the person in charge completely unfamiliar with the English language and the Latin alphabet, he didn't even know his company logo! And just like that, he walked out the door. The look inside the coat wasn't much better, all the seams were torn, the seams weren't on…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Expensive

SMALL! Order at least one size larger.

As someone who loves to work outside the home and do all kinds of work projects, I can tell you that nobody makes a quality product like Carhartt - nobody. I've worn Carhartt for decades and this is easily the best deal in terms of quality and comfort. So I was very excited that my son could start wearing the same clothes as dad when we are outside. He has bibs - they fit fantastic! However, this jacket runs small. Especially if you dress for the weather ie wear layered clothing as you should…

Pros
  • 100% cotton; lining: 100% polyester; sleeve lining: 100% polyester; trim: 100% cotton
