I bought these gloves based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I couldn't have had a more different experience with them. The gloves formed a single piece on the inner liner at the tip of the right thumb after the third use; I have to sew it. I took these gloves on a snow hunt this year and they weren't warm enough and not waterproof at all. Once these gloves get wet, they take a long time to dry.

My son works at a tree service in northern Michigan. Winters are harsh and he is called upon for emergencies during all kinds of sudden changes in the weather. He loves these gloves and bought a second pair after his pup chewed on one of his original gloves. They are definitely worth the extra cost. I am planning to buy my son-in-law a pair for Christmas.

I bought these for the New York winter cold. You are very warm. I've used them on skis a few times and they've been great! I fell a lot and my hands never got wet and snow never got between them. You can't go wrong with Carhartt!

These gloves are very warm which is what you need. Because they are so warm, your hands will inevitably sweat. When you try to remove gloves from sweaty hands, the inner layer sticks to your fingers and turns inside out. The inner layer must be sewn to the outer layer to keep the product intact.

First season goose hunting, looking for good gloves, tried different types. Nothing compares to my Carhartts for comfort and warmth. My hands are mostly cold and after a few hours they sometimes even get sweaty!

I have not used these gloves but they are very warm and comfortable. My only issue with this particular item at Revain is that the description lists it as real tree camo and the picture shows real tree camo. So be careful if you absolutely must have real wood camo as this item is actually Mossy Oak as you can see in the photos.
