Finally found a nail brush with stiff bristles!

The bristles are stiff enough to get the job done, unlike almost every other nail brush on the market that seems designed to clean a baby's face.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Too long to wait

The best brush for nails!

I never thought I would love a nail brush so much but wow! I used to buy from national chain stores and the bristles quickly became soft and didn't clean under my nails. This brush cleans thoroughly and gently under the nail

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Good hard bristles

This is a nail scraper, it works. These bristles are very tough and can be cleaned if necessary. I'm not too oily, the worst thing these days can be a little stain. Both sets of bristles feel equally stiff. I think the short ones are more manageable. For me it works fine. Sometimes, when it's not very dirty, it's better to use softer bristles. But in general, a stiff brush does its job well. If you have sensitive skin you may prefer softer bristles.

Drop a sticker that is difficult to remove and leaves marks.

These are pretty good quality all purpose nail brushes with very strong bristles that are sure to get your nails done. Unfortunately, they came with a very sticky paper manufacturer's label on the side of the handle. It proved surprisingly difficult to remove, especially the glue, which simply spread all over the handle when rubbed. I had to use alcohol and then Goo Gone to wash it off, it was a waste of time. If I didn't need the brushes I would send them back. This is sold as a hospital grade

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Perfect size and stiffness

It might seem silly to review a nail brush but I've had trouble finding the right one - here it is! The bristles are just the right hardness and the brush feels good in your hand - just the right size. Glad I bought two!

Pros
  • Loads of positive emotions
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet

Try Carlisle's Large Hand and Nail Brush instead.

This is the only Carlisle brush that has disappointed me. It's nothing special, but to make matters worse, it's too stiff and the bristles are too coarse for my hands. I'm sticking with the larger, softer Carlisle hand and nail brush, also available here at Revain. This one is soft and much bigger, plus it cleans my hands and nails very effectively without feeling like my skin is being ripped off my hands! Revain sells similar brushes in packs that are much cheaper than this one. Not a very…

Pros
  • There's something to it

  • Minor issues

Strong and durable but not uncomfortable

I repair power tools for a living and my hands are always greased. I use this brush with dish soap at dawn to wash off dirt. Pros: Definitely like the stiff bristles. I don't have to press hard to get into hard-to-reach places. After 2 months of use, the bristles are still stiff. Bilaterally useful. Cons: The barcode came off and the adhesive is a bit annoying and won't peel off. There is no handle either. Stiff bristles can be too hard to penetrate nails if they are already sensitive. All in…

Excellent brush for nails - well made and high quality.

Love it! I've tried many nail brushes. it is great. The bristles are very good and I find they clean under my nails very well. It's not too soft. but that is subjective. I don't like soft bristles because they don't clean well under the nails. This one is just perfect. I have sensitive skin and find it powerful enough to clean under the nails without tearing the skin. It has two sides - one with regular bristles and the other side has bristles that are a little shorter and a little stiffer. I…

Doesn't last long on Nail Art & Polish

Virtually useless to me. I used to use a Rubbermaid brush for its bristles and durability, but now it can't be found online. After seeing some of the reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Big mistake. In less than three weeks, the bristles on both sides started breaking. I use it every day after work in the body shop, so I need a brush that will stand up to the way I use it. Unfortunately this is not the case. If you need a brush to wash your hands from time to time, I'm sure this will work. If…
