They are just fine. in Footrests

These footrests will fit. One installed with no problems. The threads of the other one were mixed up. If you don't have a tap and die, this could be a problem. They need a flange at the top so you can better tighten them to the door hinge so they don't press down on the jeep's side as much.

Can cause damage! for motorcycles and weight training

I ordered them for my 2017 JK and when I put them on I noticed that they were resting on the fender and denting it. I don't want a permanent dent on my jeep so I'm sending it back. They should rest against the stop in the hinge and not against the body of the car.

Angle doesn't match right

Rotate 90 degrees when installed and look wrong. I had to modify it by putting extra padding on the peg bumper. I used furniture guides. The angle just isn't right for the 2017 Wrangler. This means it's probably the same for all 2007-2017 Jeeps.

Does not come with washers, you need two for each hinge!

First on my JLU this ruined the plastic bushings in the pivot hole which were supposed to come with rubber or aluminum washers to protect. Now you have to buy new non-original bushings for them and protect the paint for doors when reinstalling them. I wish I had really left it alone.

Poor quality Good for parts

Passenger side threads are corked, not enough to tighten. was my big day removing the jeep doors for the first time. at least on the driver's side. I noticed someone said it rotates 90 degrees, which is definitely important. You look a little stupid. Another issue I noticed is the welds where the pin meets the threaded rod are welded at completely different heights/areas so they look different on each side.

Slight modification for ease of use.

I love the tuners! My 03 TJ only has soft doors. I found the nut on the bottom very handy if you plan on leaving the doors open for long periods of time. However, I rebuild my doors and top every night. I didn't want to keep tightening and loosening them after we've been riding all day. I flattened one end of the threaded bolt just below the door bracket, took a small drill and drilled a hole big enough to put a small coupling pin through. I drilled a hole to keep the new pin from contacting…
