Casio #10412702 Genuine Replacement Band for Pathfinder - PRG260, PRG550, PRW3500 This product was a perfect match for my PRG-550. However, installation was an absolute pain. They did NOT come with any tools or instructions. The only reason I was able to install it is because I had prior experience with similar watches. I can remember at least 3 moments during installation where an inexperienced person could damage the watch or the product. At such an exorbitant price they could be a lot better

I have had a Casio Pathfinder ProTrek PRW2500 watch for almost 10 years and the strap has deteriorated. My dog ate the tape and I finally found a replacement. A direct replacement for the original tape cost almost $70, but then I found this tape. They are a little different and don't have the flashy metal finish that the original strap had, but they fit perfectly and have breathed new life into my favorite watch.

I've been using the Casio PRW-3500 Pro Trek for a few years now and the original band has started to break. This group was a direct replacement. The only difficulty was using 2 small screwdrivers at a time to remove the straps holding each end of the watch. I had to insert a screwdriver into the vise, place the post on top and then use the next screwdriver to remove the post.

Pros: Fits easily on the original PRW-3500 series strap Cons: Very hard. Can be a bit uncomfortable to wear. Not sure if it gets less stiff as it wears out. Also, it's a PitA that fits, but that's a design flaw on Casio's part, not the replacement band itself. The band is held in place with a locking bolt that goes through the gasket and is held in place by a screw, just like a pan head screw. You will need at least two precision flathead screwdrivers (like those used for eyeglasses/watches)…
