Too confusing - Wristwatch

I bought this watch for an archaeological dig because of the many useful features. Unfortunately, the wrong manual is included, which is very confusing. This was my first watch of this type, so maybe I just don't understand all the shortcuts like some do. I really liked the aesthetics of the watch, it looks very nice and isn't too chunky. But I'm too confused with the settings, too many shortcuts to remember, and having studied the wrong manual while trying to program this watch, I'm just over…

Super cool piece

I'm a watch nerd but I don't consider this watch to be part of my watch collection but rather part of my outdoor gear. Compass, thermometer, WR and backlight make it a good watch for camping/hiking and especially when you are embarking on an unknown adventure and don't know what to expect. Sometimes I wear them casual and it's bad. I never liked G-Shock because they are too big and fat. This one is still big but its thickness is ok and it's also a lot cheaper than the G, just as cool and has…

BLUF: Heavy Duty, Not G-Shock

From land to sea, Spain to California, this watch has endured the life of a line worker and never missed a beat. Showering in salt water and still perfect. The metal frame shows some signs of wear and scratches on the plastic glass (easy to remove on some watches). The GMT function made it easy to keep track of home time and the time zone I'm in. Technically it might not be as difficult as the G-Shock, but according to anecdotal evidence it is. A great upgrade from Casino Royale for practical…

I'm not into quartz let alone digital. I like mechanical. I bought it for my hikes out of necessity. I find this watch with its features really inexpensive. The watch has the quality you would expect from Japanese brands. As for some reviewers, I didn't find it difficult to set up the watch if I followed the instructions and I'm not into electronic goods. The manual has good value and disclaimer warnings to avoid misconfigurations. However, the watch is not intuitive to use. I had to memorize…

Great watch for multiple time zones

The watch has a clear time zone function orientation - and it really helps when you need to communicate or travel across time zones. In standard mode, you can easily see your own time as well as another city's time. In World Time mode, you can see three time zones - home city, destination city, and another city (note that the Casio names for these - home, location, and world - can be confusing). This is particularly useful when traveling to a new time zone with a stopover in a different time…
