I tried to use this product to fill some knots in wood. I mixed as directed, 3 to 1, room temperature 75. Still not set five hours later. So I did an experiment and mixed a small batch 2 to 1 and mixed a batch 1 to 1. After an hour I'm still like a liquid. Not even jelly. I now have an 8ft farm table with liquid epoxy which is gooey and liquid but no catalyst. What a bloody mess. Do not buy this product.

I was a bit hesitant when I received this product as few of the reviewers have already stated that it doesn't heal. I got it anyway and I had the same experience. It is not cured at a 3:1 ratio. I've also tried other ratios. 1 to 1 didn't heal at all. 1:2 was slightly better but still very soft. Too bad because the clarity is as I wanted but it doesn't heal. Can the supplier explain or fix the problem?

Yesterday I took this unit for a test drive in a very small container. I encapsulated a pinecone that my 4-year-old son picked in Wisconsin last fall (long story but he treasured it). It worked well. Next time I'll be careful and do a better job of cleaning the item because two tiny bits of whatever floated into the epoxy and settled out. Another thing I need to perfect is getting the air bubbles out so it's completely transparent. To be honest I was worried it was going to be a dirty stupid…

The product spreads well and is transparent. But after several hours at 80+ degrees, a 1/16 inch 3:1 cast still won't harden. Tomorrow we will update this review with the results of the 24 hour cure. At temperatures above 80° the epoxy will not harden and will remain tacky. Very disappointed. I tried a TEST batch at 2:1, 80°, let it cure for 2 hours and the epoxy still flows and stays wet! So something is clearly wrong with the product I received. Will send it back. ANOTHER UPDATE: 48 hours…
