Bad bushings, poor quality control, high failure rate

Bought 50 pieces and only had problems. My puncher refused to cut the wire when struck down. I had to use dams to cut loose wires. Not professional at all. Punchdown works with all other jacks I use. Of the 20 sockets installed, 6 failed. Check the downstroke twice and check again. Failed. Re-terminated to the same sockets, failed. Replaced with another jack and it has worked perfectly. Poor quality control on their part. I wonder if I'll get a trouble call in the future.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • embarrassing

Random success for cables and connections

Bought several packs for work. In the last pack there were a lot of bad boys. Due to breakdowns I had to replace half of the bushings.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

No problems with commercial install

I needed this for wiring work. I was a bit worried about the corner kick but it wasn't a problem. In fact, it seemed to make the punches a little easier. Of the ten boys I didn't meet a single dead one. I would definitely buy them again for Cat5e work. If they do Cat6 I would try them.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Disappear

Great Cat 5e Cables

The angled slots make it much easier to line up the wires and the color pattern is simpler than other trapezoids I've used.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • ill thought out

Much easier to use!

With the 45 degree wire feed slots, it was much easier to place the punch wires and the assembly process was much faster. Only one keystone connection out of 48 terminals failed. This was due to one of the contact wires in the connector's contact area not being fully extended, i.e. not making good contact with the connector's contact area. He was quickly replaced. I was otherwise happy with them and will use them in my next job.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Vulgarity

They go well with the ethernet cables

. I liked how much you get for the price, they are really difficult to install. I used these types of connectors that I got from local hardware and they were a lot easier to install. You must have a plunger, without which the wire would not be easy to install. The blocks worked pretty well but I would give them 5 stars again if they were easier to install.

Pros
  • . Termination: 110 style 45 degree stamped
Cons
  • , flimsy
