I bought these to model with polymer clay and thought they were a great set. The black plastic tools are rather crude in shape, although useful for some tasks. Other much better quality tools include a huge range of chrome plated metal tools with spherical tips and flexible silicone tips at the back end, ideal for working and smoothing clay. As a newbie to polymer clay I found this set very useful. Although I wasn't thrilled with the disk that came with it. In the picture it looks like fairly clear acrylic but it appears to be matte plastic and very thin. Despite that, I gave this product a 5 because for a beginner the tools that come with it are still worth it. I mostly carve on a table covered with wax paper anyway, but I can use a small white clay slab to keep it from getting dirty. I hope this review helps new people like me…

I thought it was too good to be true and I need these tools! This is my very first polymer clay kit and now my absolute favorite! While I don't actually use black flimsy plastic pieces and consider them a "free" set, all the others are AMAZING and very useful. This is a good set with a wide range of tools. The roller is small and the glass plate is also small, in my opinion it is not designed to work with such small things as flower petals. I also love that the case is big enough to fit everything, even a scooter and three bottles of Sculpt Finish and Bake n Bond.
