Ceiling Fixture 2 Light Frosted Antique Review

I ordered 2 headlights, they came broken! I contacted the seller and he sent me a replacement very quickly. It was a bit tricky to install because it's very thin, I wanted something thin because I have a low ceiling. They look very modern and simple! Excellent customer service!

Arrived broken I like the lamp for the office very much. We unpacked it. We started the installation and at the last stage we realized that the lamp was broken >< we had already thrown away the boxes and spent time installing the base. It was very uncomfortable. Well, now I have $60 broken glass.

When mounting to the ceiling, there will be a slight 1/4 inch gap due to construction. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but since I installed it on a landing, this gap is noticeable when climbing the stairs. Otherwise I'm happy with them. Perhaps the gap is for safety or cooling purposes, because if you're using incandescent bulbs instead of LEDs, the light can get warm, which is normal.

Beautiful! My only negative comment is that the white metal body is very shiny and makes the device look cheap. It's also installed with silver screws that you can see. I painted the white body and screws with matte white paint and it looks great then. The metal surface has a satin finish and looks very beautiful. Bought to match my gold Delta champagne mixers and other fixtures. It's not an exact match, but it fits well.

Electrical connection cords are too far apart to fit in a standard ceiling mounted electrical box. This leaves a gap between the lamp base and the ceiling where the wires run. Are those pinched wires a safety issue? The glass lampshade screws into the base (important to know when unpacking) and 3 Phillips screws (not thumbscrews) provide reinforcement. Be careful not to overtighten these screws or the glass will break.

I like the look of this lamp. I chose this design because it was very similar to what was being sold at an expensive design store for only $150. fewer. It sits flush to the ceiling and looks modern without screaming "I'm new". There's a nice soft light, not harsh, but bright enough to read in the hallway if you want to.
