Compatible with all standard backpack vacuums and dry canister vacuums. The 34498 chrome telescopic wand works with almost any vacuum variety and it's versatile nature makes it a must have for any operator. Telescopes from 23.5 Inches to 39 Inches, aiding operators to reach far beyond a standard vacuum wand. This chromed steel telescopic wand features a nylon ring collar, home to a female friction and male friction fits. Allows the user to do above the floor cleaning, and adjust the height to the operator and the job. Fits 1.25" (32mm) connections. Compressed length is 23.5” (597mm), and extends to 39” (990mm).

Good, but the latch on the button is pretty flimsy.

In general, the goods are good, but the button is rather weak. It does not stay in its highest position, but continues to move from its highest position to the second position. Still serviceable, but would be better off not flinching and sucking as much while staying straight.

Not as compatible with Electrolux as advertised.

This is much better than the standard aluminum 2 piece set we have used. While it's advertised as compatible with Electrolux, the fit isn't too secure though; The wand keeps falling off the handle! There is a "burr" on the drive end that causes a loose fit. I probably should have bought the Electrolux brand for about $10 more.

Great replacement for my flimsy plastic stick!

I bought this to replace the thin plastic tube that came with my Bissell canister vacuum. The metal is strong and will not bend or break. Such a great purchase after the crappy plastic fell apart and felt like it was going to break every time I used it since I got the vacuum 6 months ago. This wand is way better. It fits perfectly! Now I'll be very happy to suck! Cuckoo! I know! lol

Exactly what I wanted - strong metal, perfectly attaches to suction hose and accessories

Exactly what I wanted - strong metal, fits perfectly over the vacuum hose and attachments and is long enough for most applications. Use this with a small Eureka handheld vacuum with a short nozzle hose. Can get into small areas; Even use this extension with a floor brush to get under the bed and furniture. Less bulky than my Shark Vertical Lift and almost the same powerful suction. Very happy with the purchase.

quality product. ideal for vacuuming and floor care

Heavy duty and also heavier than I expected (in a good way). I see some people complaining about the plastic locking mechanism, I think they could use a better component but it works fine now. I think this is the highest point of likely failure over time, but we'll see. Also, I'm 6ft 2in so I have to stretch it almost all the way to use it comfortably at a good angle with the hardwood floor mount. one or two longer extensions for a daisy chain for maximum comfort. Awesome, works great with Kirby!

I do! I have a Kirby Sentra that I bought through a divorce but it didn't have an extension cord and a few other parts. Small but after laying on my stomach to vacuum under the bed I was over it. It fits right in the house. I have to press on it pretty hard to keep it in place and sometimes it slips off. Still great because I love it!
