Description of Cen Tec Systems 92014 Universal Extension

The 92014 is designed to add 20 feet of highly flexible hose length to the hose on your canister or upright. The hose has a 1 1⁄4” inner diameter and is 20 feet long. The hose will transfer the power of your vacuum without losing power due to its smooth inner diameter. The 92014 is equipped with a unique compression adaptor that will grab on to the curved end on your can¬ister or upright vacuum hose and add the necessary hose length to clean a complete flight of stairs with the vacuum resting safely on the ground. If you own a Hoover vacuum with the unique pin system simply take the compression fitting off and thread on the Hoover adaptor. The 92014 hose comes with two different hose ends to match with your accessories. Typically North Ameri¬can brands used 1.25” accessories while many European brands were designed for use with 1.375” accesso¬ries. The 92014 comes with alternative swivel wand fittings that allow you to match to either or both size of accessories. The flexibility to adaptor to your vacuum by simply adjusting the ends allows the extension hose to work with most popular brands of canisters and upright vacuums including Hoover, Eureka, Bissell, Miele, Royal, Oreck, Sharp, Riccar, Simplicity, Kirby, and Kenmore.

Suitable for Miele vacuum cleaners!

Suitable for Miele Swing H1 Quick Step Powerline! I searched and searched for something that would expand the capabilities of my powerful but bulky vacuum cleaner. I didn't want to buy a brand new vacuum cleaner, Miele vacuum cleaners are quite expensive! At first I thought the tapered collar was too wide, but keep twisting the top and it will tighten further to form a secure seal. Figuring out how to match it to your vacuum can be a challenge. Where there is a will, there's a way.

Pretty basic hose. Exactly what it should be. It was a little difficult to match my Hoover pace. I had to take one of the extensions from the vacuum, cut it to about 4 inches in length and use it as an adapter as none of the fittings and adapters fit the vacuum port. Once I set it on the vacuum it did what it was supposed to. Nice strong hose, strong but not too stiff. I like it.

Doesn't fit my Kenmore but will fit my husband's Shop Vac

I was happy to find a really long hose extender but disappointed that it didn't fit my Kenmore vacuum. My husband and I sat down with all the details and tried to come up with a workable solution, even attempting to bypass the Kenmore hose entirely. But the crux of the matter was that the power supply (on/off) was controlled at the Kenmore hose. In desperation, we pulled out the Shop Vac and were able to use one of the included fittings on this hose. So I was disappointed that I couldn't use it

Doesn't go well with existing nozzles

Purchased as an extension hose for a Kirby Sentria G10D vacuum cleaner (nozzle size 32mm). The hose resembles the real Kirby hose in terms of flexibility and apparent strength. Adapters for different types of vacuum are screwed onto the hose. Unfortunately, the adapters do not work well. The nozzle adapters are too small and not tapered (30.75-31.8mm vs 31.5-34mm on the Kirby) so they don't fit snugly in the Kirby nozzles (they leak vacuum and tend to fall off). GREAT Suction: Vacuum Cleaner Parts & Accessories

This Cen-Tec 92014 Universal Extension System is THE BEST! I've used this with two different vacuums and the attachments work well with the vacuum attachments for a snug fit. I figured the longer length, 20 feet, would dampen the suction. It is not. It is especially good for cleaning hard tops in places like cars, trunks, RVs, high places like the ceiling in a house or the top of closets, along the top of curtains and rods, or on pendant lights.
