Poor storage quality

I consider USB drives to be a commodity, but these drives have proven to make a difference in quality. Out of the 10 packs, I couldn't find a single disc that wouldn't spoil the video files copied onto it. I noticed artifacts in video and audio in different parts of the 4.2GB video file. I checked the source file, there were no artifacts. Copied the same file to a Sandisk USB drive and had no problems. It is clear that the problem is precisely with these disks, and not with one disk, but with…

3/10 literally broken (VIDEO)

updated on 01/20/2015. I no longer recommend it. I had no problems with my first 10, but with the second 10? 3 out of 10 ripped when I tried to remove the caps. The glue they use directly doesn't work. Watch the video to see if you're ok with this (hint, you won't). PREVIOUS REVIEW: I use these USBs to transfer video files for clients. This is my 3rd box of these as I have been very happy with them. I see some reviewers complaining about the low transfer speed, it's USB 2.0, but to be honest I…

Needs formatting and they are only 3.7GB not 8GB as advertised

I like the old Centon 8GB sticks with gray sticks they sold last year, these new ones just don't work at all, look completely different and have a black case, I've never had to format the old design for what I use them for until now. If they had a zero star I would list that instead, they just don't work. I use it as an MP3 player for my work. I needed 8GB and they sent me this 4GB instead, it's actually only 3.7GB which is a bit crazy because it held up and really thrown me off track for a…

Everything it should be

My grandchildren tell me that shipping things on CD-R's is old school since their netbooks don't have a drive to play them. I buy well-known brands of flash drives (same name as my computer), but I really liked this smaller (2 gigabyte) drive in the bulk pack. That's why I ordered them. At first I was concerned that the red light would come on when inserted, but that's a normal light. My computer OS is Windows 7, it seemed to work pretty fast with this flash drive. I copied a fairly large…

Looks good at first glance, but the poor quality quickly puts you off.

I ordered these sticks to save money on a daily basis. I was expecting durable flash drives, but 4/10 turned out to be DOA. After trying to get enough left over, I found that they would often work for a week or a few days and then fail. As a result, I was left with 10 useless flash drives. If you are considering buying them, you will save your time and choose a better quality product. You have to pay a little more, but it's worth it for not losing your data and for having a really working…
