These snips are great, and such an improvement over other solutions I've tried for pruning small things in my garden. I've used them to cut peppers free from the plants, to cut lettuce leaves and basil leaves, and to prune my tomato plants. (I don't think, however, I would want to use them on anything thicker or more woody like my raspberries. I'll keep using full sized garden clippers for those.) These sheers are great except for the locking mechanism. Sharp, and have lasted many cuttings. The only issue is that when you go to close them, they don't lock super easily. Not the worst thing in the world, or even something I'm going to knock them on. Just something people may want to be aware of before purchasing. Outside of that, these are just what you'd expect from sheers.

These are really sharp, pointy and pretty well made. Unfortunately there is no way to get them open and closed with one hand. It's almost totally impossible to get them shut using both hands. Because of this they are an epic fail for me.

These shears are very sharp and they fit my hands perfectly.
