I bought this as a gift for a friend who just bought a house and loves elephants and they are so adorable. she loved her. The only thing was the box it came in, old and damaged. Luckily I didn't need the box and put it in my gift basket.

My biggest gripe is that the darker elephant is not as dark as the 'pictured' elephant. Another thing is that the size of the holes is bigger than expected, but that doesn't bother me too much. Also, these salt and pepper shakers appear to be well made and I look forward to using them.

It's a green plastic box with a big yellow sticker on the outside that says "great for any occasion" or something. Anyway I threw them away, wrapped each in tissue paper and put them in the lovely gift box they deserve because they are the cutest things, just adorable! worth more than the ugly box they come in.
